In this section you'll find information about serious projects that are helped by Minotauro. We decided to share this information with people and corporations that might be interested in contributing to increase the number of people that we can help.

We present the Fun Doctors. This group of very dedicated actors visit the pediatric infirmaries of public hospitals dressed as clowns, bringing joy to the children under treatment.

This kind of therapy brings sensible improvement to the child's health, contributing to:
  • A change of from a passive to an active behavior;
  • Better acceptance of medical procedures and exams;
  • Reduction of the stress for both the medical professionals and the parents;
  • Better relationship among professionals, parents and children;
  • Considerable reduction of the time children spend in the hospital;
  • Development of the humanization, happiness and good mood in the hospital environment.
Minotauro was touched by the work of the Fun Doctors, and decided to sponsor the project and also use his web site as a channel for those who want to help as well. He remembered the long time he spent in the hospital as a child, after a terrible accident he suffered when he was hit by a truck, and remembered how important it is for a child staying in a hospital to receive some solidarity at such difficult times.

The group of clowns from Vitoria da Conquista, Minotauro's home town, is considering training other groups that might want to follow their path in other cities.

The Fun Doctors is a totally non-profitable organization, performing this task of total dedication supported solely by donations made by kind people who believe in this kind of philanthropy.

There's still plenty to do, and the group is counting on your help! If you wish, you can also contribute by making a deposit into the following account:
